When you select “Use color from appointment slot”, the stroke of color shown next to your timeslot in your agenda will be the same color as the color you set for that timeslot in the timetable.

When you select “Use color from calendar”, the stroke of color shown next to your timeslot in your agenda will be the same color as the color you set for the calendar that is linked to that timeslot.
