If you work in a group practice, you may not want to share your calendar and appointment information with all of your colleagues. You can change the privacy settings of your calendars with the “Calendar permissions”.

Calendar permissions are applicable to your Rosa calendar(s), as well as to any external calendars.

In this article you’ll find:

The different kind of calendar permissions

1. Public

By selecting the first option, your agenda is visible and modifiable (add/modify/delete appointments, leaves or time slots) by all the health professionals and secretaries of your organization.

2. Private

When you select the second option, your calendar is no longer visible and can’t be found (in the calendar list on the left of the calendar) by your colleagues, except for those you select in the "Share with specific users" drop-down menu.

3. Busy

With this last option, your colleagues will be able to see when you are busy (appointment or leave) but will not see any details.

As with option 2 (private), you can select users who will be able to see and modify events in your calendar.

The patient's name, reason for the appointment and notes will not be displayed. Your colleagues will also not be able to add/modify/delete appointments, leaves or time slots.

For both the “Private” and “Busy” permissions, the appointments from this calendar will no longer be visible to your colleagues. While basic patient information will stay visible in the Patient files, your colleagues won’t be able to see the appointment overview.
